There are rules and guidelines for use to make everyone's experience as fruitful, efficient and beneficial as possible. Expect that you will be witness to, and involved in, candid and frank exchanges. This is not the place to get a warm and fuzzy feeling for failures or stupid decisions. Our members are real Soldiers- NCOs, Officers and junior enlisted- and real people who have been, will go, or want to go to the Officer Candidate School at Ft. Benning, GA. We are here to help, do not waste our time, and we won't waste yours.

Applying to OCS:

  • Electronic library kiosk bound for Iraq
HEIDELBERG, Germany ? Camp Victory in Iraq is nearly 2,000 miles from the nearest Army Library in Europe. But soldiers deployed at the sprawling base near Baghdad International Airport will soon have access to a broad spectrum of such resources via an e-Branch kiosk.
  • Najaf Airport provides travel, economic boost to southern provinces
Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki stepped off the first plane landing in Najaf International Airport and waved to cheering crowds July 20. The celebration marked the opening of a new airport, which will facilitate travel, boost business opportunities and increase tourism to the third-most-popular destination for Islamic pilgrimages.
  • Soldier continues Jujitsu training while in Iraq
He moved from being locked in the guard to base with little effort, wrapped his opponent's neck in the crook of his arm and locked in until his opponent's head turned fuscia.
  • Freedom Rest helps Soldiers escape
Soldiers melt away stress in the steaming sauna; they lounge around the swimming pool watching one another leap from the high dive; some use the workout room to improve their bodies and their moods. The scene is similar to any resort.
  • R-E-S-P-E-C-T spells reduced stigma, more choices
SCHWEINFURT, Germany ? Soldiers seeking behavioral health care on U.S. Army Garrison Schweinfurt have a myriad of options for care and treatment: Military Family Life Counselors, Social Work Services, psychiatrists, psychologists, chaplains, and now, thanks to the RESPECT-Mil program, primary care providers.
